A 57-page whitepaper from Google Quantum AI, co-authored with Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake and Stanford cryptographer Dan Boneh, mapped five separate ways a future quantum computer could attack Ethereum. The paper estimated combined exposure exceeding $100 billion, and noted that most public reaction to the report focused on bitcoin.
