Indonesia suspends Altman's Worldcoin permits over registration and licensing malpractice

Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital, also known as Komdigi, has suspended the registration licenses of Worldcoin and its associated identity verification service, WorldID, amid rising public concern and suspected regulatory violations. The move adds Indonesia to the growing list of countries taking action against the controversial crypto-biometric project backed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
