Bank of England tests chainlink settlement in new UK blockchain securities pilot

The Bank of England is launching a new phase of onchain securities experiments, and chainlink settlement is now at the center of its latest pilot. On Feb. 10, 2026, the Bank of England confirmed that Chainlink, the decentralized oracle network, will join its experimental Synchronisation Lab. The program is designed to test how blockchain-based assets can settle in step with traditional central bank money across the UK financial system.
